Billing, plans, and cancellation

Veroxa has three parent plans. Pick the one that matches your situation, not the one with the most features.

Free

Free is a real free plan, not a 14-day teaser. It includes:

• 1 case with unlimited records (incidents, visits, expenses, communications, court orders, family records, journal entries, documents)
• All record types and the basic timeline view
• Email reminders for upcoming events

What Free does not include: case exports, expense reimbursement links, integrations, or any of the Pro / Premium features below. Free is enough to start a paper trail and see how Veroxa works with real data before deciding whether to upgrade.

Pro ($99 / month)

For parents working with an attorney. Pro is the right tier if you have a lawyer and your job is to feed them clean, organized evidence.

Includes everything in Free, plus:

• Unlimited cases and records
• Court-ready PDF and DOCX exports with cover page, summary, and verification section
• Co-parent expense approvals with Stripe-powered reimbursement links
• Google Calendar and Drive sync
• Visitation compliance reports (Impact on Family, multi-child rows, hours and days totals)
• Bulk document upload with auto-titling and source detection (LawConnect, Apple Photos, Google Takeout, Gmail exports)
• Invite your attorney to view your case (up to 2 view-only collaborators, fully revocable)
• Standard support

Annual billing is $899 / year (saves $289 vs paying monthly). Switch from the billing page any time.

Premium ($149 / month)

For parents handling their own case. Premium is the right tier if you're pro se: you're the lawyer for your own case, you'll be filing exhibits yourself, and you need to find any document in seconds during a hearing.

Includes everything in Pro, plus:

• OCR — text extraction from every photo and PDF you upload, so scanned documents become searchable
• Full-text search across documents, incidents, communications, journal entries, court orders, expenses, and cases
• Court-ready exhibit numbering — your approved evidence auto-numbers as Exhibit A, B, C (or 1, 2, 3 if you prefer). Exhibit labels prefix the document titles in the PDF and DOCX export
• Visitation backfill — reconstruct historical visits from an existing schedule, with backfilled rows clearly flagged so they're never misrepresented as contemporaneous
• Priority support with a 24-hour SLA

Annual billing is $1,349 / year (saves $439 vs paying monthly).

The 14-day trial

Sign up and start a free trial without a credit card. The trial gives you full Premium access for 14 days. Use everything: OCR, search, exhibit numbering, bulk upload, backfill, attorney invites, the works. The trial is intentionally generous so you can decide which tier actually fits your situation.

If you do not add a card, your account converts to Free at the end of the trial. Your data stays, but Premium and Pro features pause.

If you add a card, your first charge happens at the end of day 14 against whichever tier you picked. We send reminders at day 7, day 3, and day 1 before the trial ends so there are no surprises.

Upgrading mid-trial

You do not need to wait for the trial to end. Add a card from Profile → Billing any time. The trial timer keeps running and your first charge still happens at day 14. Adding a card early just means you will not lose access if you forget about it.

Switching tiers later

Pro to Premium, or Premium to Pro: Profile → Billing → Manage Subscription. The Stripe customer portal handles the proration. Changes take effect immediately and your next invoice reflects the new tier.

If you're switching from Premium down to Pro, Premium-only data does not get deleted: your OCR text stays on the documents, exhibit numbers stay assigned, backfilled visits stay marked. You just lose the ability to use search, run new backfills, or assign new exhibit numbers going forward. Re-upgrading restores access.

Canceling

Cancel any time from Profile → Billing. Cancellation:

• Stops future charges immediately
• Lets you keep your paid tier through the end of your current billing period (you paid for it)
• Reverts your account to Free at the end of the period

Your data is not deleted on cancellation. Free accounts retain everything they already created.

Refunds

If you cancel within 7 days of a charge and feel the product did not deliver, email will@getveroxa.com and we will refund you. No questionnaire.

Downgrading from Pro or Premium to Free

If you have more than 1 case when you downgrade:

• All your existing data stays accessible: you can still read and (with re-upgrade) export it
• You cannot add a second case until you re-upgrade
• Paid-tier features (exports, integrations, expense links, search, exhibits, backfill) pause until you re-upgrade

Updating your payment method

Profile → Billing → Manage subscription. This opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can swap cards, update billing email, or see past invoices.

Common questions

Which tier should I start on? If you have a lawyer, start on Pro. If you're pro se (representing yourself in family court), start on Premium. If you're not sure yet, start the 14-day trial — it gives you full Premium access so you can test the power features before committing.

Will you ever raise the price? If we adjust pricing, current subscribers see the new rate on their next renewal. We will email you at least 30 days before any change so you have time to decide whether to renew, switch to annual, or cancel.

Can I pay annually? Yes. Pro is $899 / year, Premium is $1,349 / year. Both are about a 25% discount over monthly. Switchable from the billing page.

What if my payment fails? Stripe retries automatically for two weeks. If all retries fail, your account drops to Free. You can re-add a card and resume any time without losing data.

Is there a non-profit / hardship discount? Email us. We have helped many parents in tough financial situations and will work something out.

I have an attorney AND I'm pro se on a separate matter. Premium is the safer choice — it includes everything in Pro plus the power tools. You can invite your attorney to view the matter where you're represented, and use the full Premium toolset on the matter where you're representing yourself.
